Boiled Beetroot (pureed) 1 small
Wheat flour ½ cup
Aliv seeds (powdered) ¼ tsp
Ajwain ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Grated ginger ½ tsp
Ghee for frying
Chana dal (boiled and mashed) ⅛ cup
Method:
Wash and roughly chop the beetroot. Boil the beetroot in water and set aside to cool.
Once the beetroot has cooled, grind it along with the water it was boiled in to make a puree. The puree should be thick, so add the water accordingly while grinding.
Sift the flour in a large mixing bowl. Add salt, grated ginger, aliv powder and ajwain.
Add the cooked chana dal and boiled beetroot puree to the flour and mix well. Knead the dough until soft, add water if required.
Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
Roll out the parathas and cook on tawa on both sides till done.
Serve with chutney or pickle (if the baby has been weaned to chutney/pickle).

Add in the honey and lemon juice. Mix well.

Pumpkin (chopped) ¼ piece
Tomato 1 no.
Onion (small) 1 no.
Garlic 4 cloves
Water (boiled and filtered) 1 cup
Cinnamon ¼ inch
Salt to taste
Pepper 2 corns
Carrots ¼ cup
Ghee 2 tsp
Ginger ¼ inch
Method:
Peel the pumpkin skin and chop it into small cubes.
Do the same with the carrot.
Rinse the chopped pumpkin and carrot under running water to wash.
Heat ghee in a kadai and add cinnamon and pepper followed by garlic, ginger, and chopped onion.
Once the onion turns translucent, add tomatoes and salt and cook until soft.
Add in the pumpkin and carrot and some water and let it cook until soft.
Let the cooked vegetables cool a bit and blend them with water.
Add more water to adjust consistency.
Pour the pumpkin soup into a saucepot and boil until it bubbles. Adjust salt and mix well.
Serve hot with bread toast.

Method:
Clean the semolina by checking for impurities like stone or grit.
Place a kadai on gas, add the ghee and roast the cashew until golden brown.
Add the semolina and roast the semolina until golden brown and toasty.
Add the raw sugar to the semolina.
Add the finely chopped pineapple.
Add hot water and mix.
Cook till the semolina is cooked. You can add a little more hot water if you need it. Once done, switch off the gas. Serve warm or at room temperature.
